Are you interested joining one of a leading international consulting company that creates value and solutions to some of the most complex issues worldwide? Do you want to be part of this daily puzzle, supporting and developing the methods and tools we use to solve the challenges that arise? Then Join us, as we are now looking for a Student Assistant to our risk analysis section focusing on data analysis and GIS modelling!
JOIN OUR RISK ANALYSIS TEAM IN LYNGBY
The Risk analysis section is an integral part of our infrastructure business and resides in our main office in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. By investigating the risk aspects of major infrastructure projects, the section assists the design teams and client organisations to ensure suitable, efficient and safe designs. Risk analysis and probabilistic modelling are applied in conjunction with modelling of the system behaviour and physical interrelations to evaluate the risks of specific designs. One of the most significant hazards of concern are ship collisions with bridges and offshore structures. As input to these analyses we typically use large sets of vessel movement data (AIS data), which we analyse using SQL, Python, ArcGIS and Excel/VBA. We are looking for someone to not only support but actually be an extension of the specialist team supporting us within data analysis, GIS analysis and visualisation.
Through our involvement in exciting and challenging projects such as the record-breaking Çanakkale Bridge in Turkey or offshore wind farms across the Danish waters and internationally, we provide innovative state-of-the-art solutions and contribute to constantly pushing the boundaries of engineering design.
A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER
