Do you want to be responsible for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) strategy in our infrastructure unit? Can you act as a discipline leader within the EMC area? And are you a good communicator? Then join COWI and help us create tomorrow's sustainable societies.
JOIN OUR RAILWAYS AND METRO DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY
In Railways and Metros, you will become part of COWI's infrastructure business unit. Railways and Metros numbers about 140 skilled experts in Denmark with wide-ranging expertise within railways, metros and light rail. We are international specialists in railway engineering, and our services cover the whole project lifecycle from feasibility study through preliminary to final design, supervision, to operation and maintenance.
The department operates in an international environment influenced by knowledge sharing and project execution. You will take part in our wide range of infrastructure projects along with the various infrastructure owners in Denmark such as Banedanmark and DSB, but also in the rest of Scandinavia. Here you will be a part of a high-performing team with high ambitions and railway experience from different areas. The rail sector presents a broad range of opportunities for electrification projects with a steady growth expected from mainlines, metros, light rails, and high-speed lines. With this, you will be given the opportunity to start up and lead the area in our team, on a high professional level. You will act as sparring partner towards our various customers, that covers both infrastructure owners as well as railway, metro and light-rail operators in all the Scandinavian countries, but also towards e.g. municipalities and other 3. part customers.
Besides representing a center of excellence within EMC, you will be included as a resource across the department, where we expect that your knowledge and experience, can contribute to spread awareness and importance of EMC on a general level in the classic railway electrical disciplines in the section, but also interdisciplinary within infrastructure business unit. You will be part of an internal COWI network where we exchange experiences across the various business areas.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect:
