As an experienced coastal/marine engineer, you will be working on a wide range of challenging projects for ports and coastal developments, offshore wind farms, met-ocean studies, etc. You will be a member of a large team with focus on delivering technical and professional expertise.

As an experienced coastal/marine engineer, you will be working on a wide range of challenging projects for ports and coastal developments, offshore wind farms, met-ocean studies, etc. You will be a member of a large team with focus on delivering technical and professional expertise.
More specifically, the position covers the following tasks:
- Acting as discipline lead for marine and coastal tasks in projects
- Delivering professional expertise to projects and to customers
- Managing numerical modelling tasks for waves, water levels, currents, sediment transport, etc. using the state of art software MIKE 21
- Design tasks using state-of-the-art coastal engineering methods to address problems related to marine structures and climate change
- Preparation of technical documents (reports, drawings, specifications)
- Engaging and interacting with other team members in a multi-disciplinary team

Furthermore, you have:
- M.Sc. in Civil engineering and have 8+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge in the design of marine works projects (met-ocean, coastal numerical modelling, coastal and port structures incl. breakwaters, jetties, quays, etc.)
- Significant experience in designing marine projects during all project phases, from conceptual design to detailed design, for contractors or as client's consultant.
- Good insight in construction methods and contractor’s capabilities and restrictions.
- An eye for sustainability and knowledge about building with nature.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian)
