GRADUATE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER FOR BRIDGE DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY
Our International Bridge team possess world-class competencies, which allows them to take on the most complex projects anywhere in the world and now you have the chance to join and learn from them. We are experienced in all types of bridges and civil infrastructure in sectors ranging from highways, metros, railways, to energy and power, and we cover the entire lifecycle of a project from idea, concept and design to operation and maintenance.
Some of our on-going projects are:

  • HS2: The largest infrastructure project in Europe. A high-speed railway connecting London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds in the UK.
  • ShiZiYang: Chinese suspension bridge with a main span of 2180 m and carries 2 x 8 lanes of traffic on a two levels truss girder
  • Ferry free E39: Concept development of 5 different solutions for major crossings including floating suspension bridges and a world record span of 2700m.

DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position, you will join our global team of specialists designing a variety of bridge projects. Your role is to design bridge structures and over time develop into a technical expert or a leader with a technical focus.
Main responsibilities:

  • Specialist structural design:
  • developing design,
  • preparation/checking calculations,
  • documentation in reports, and
  • provide input to BIM/drawings
  • Building relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders through meetings and site visits

To achieve success in this position, we believe you have an analytic mindset and have a solid understanding of structural design. Along with this, you are committed to your tasks with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.  
What you bring to the role:

  • a master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • solid structural understanding, for example related to design of bridges
  • Finite Element Model experience (Abaqus, SoFiSTiK, or similar)
