The position As a Senior Financial Controller in Fill & Finish, your primary responsibilities are to drive financial controlling, reporting and analysis of Fill & Finish’s investment Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) portfolio and ensure financial compliance within the newly established division Fill & Finish. The main tasks will be to:
  • Drive financial controlling and analysis of Fill & Finish’s CAPEX portfolio.
  • Plan and drive annual financial processes and financial closing activities.
  • Provide financial guidance to Fill & Finish’s investment projects.
  • Prepare accounting analysis and financial recommendations to Fill & Finish management and other key stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional finance projects (e.g. accounting, tax, internal controls projects) and ad-hoc corporate reporting initiatives.
  • Continuously improve the controlling and reporting environment within Fill & Finish.
  • Qualifications
  • To be successful in this role you should have:
  • A master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or similar.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working as an auditor, business partner or as a financial consultant.
  • Preferably a solid knowledge of accounting and financial controls.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

You can work independently and have the initiative to do so but enjoy being part of a team and encourage and support others during busy periods. About the department
    Fill & Finish is a newly established division within Novo Nordisk and oversees the largest investment portfolio within Novo Nordisk. The multi-billion portfolio is being governed via the central ‘Programme Office’, in which the finance department is anchored. Programme Office is an international and high-performing organisation, consisting of around 60 people from approx. 10 countries.
    You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting to Fill & Finish management and other key stakeholders including Corporate functions. Working at Novo Nordisk
