Job description:
As R&D engineer at Meneta, you become a key person with responsibility in the development and testing of different types of polymeric and rubber coatings. The development will take place in collaboration with suppliers and customers as well as in our lab facilities in Odense.
The tasks will include improving existing products as well as the development and testing of new materials within coatings, adhesives, rubbers, and metals. The development will be done in close cooperation with our strong internal R&D resources already established within the company. You will become part of a professionally strong and well-functioning team, which has a central role in realizing the company's growth targets in the coming years.
Qualifications:
Your personality is what we consider most important. You are good at taking responsibility, and most importantly you are characterized by a personal commitment to your tasks. We emphasize that you are entrepreneurial, quality conscious and take responsibility when needed. It is important that you work structured and focus on the details, as well as being good at getting the job done. You thrive on working independently, being inventive and able to come up with creative solutions within a fixed framework.
You have a degree as chemist, chemical engineer, physicist or similar and ideally you have 3 to 5 years of experience in the development of materials and material processes, preferably within coating development and optimization of bonding of different materials. You could alternatively also come with a background as a Graduate in Production Technology. You have a good understanding of R&D processes, including planning, executing, and implementing products and processes in a modern high-tech manufacturing company.

The company employs about 150 people in total and is the market leader in Europe.
MAST is part of the global company Meneta Holding A/S, which was originally established in 1953 in Stige near Odense.
