Description
We are looking for an RF Technician for our Technical Support Team based in Odense, Denmark. The team is the backbone of all customer support, service assignments with customers, internal product tests and quality assurance, hardware assembly and maintenance and much more, and you will join multi-skilled and flexible colleagues.
Job Expectations
As an RF Technician at QuadSAT, you will travel the world testing and verifying customer antennas. QuadSAT missions have spanned from summertime in the USA, to winter in Svalbard, seeing the northern lights in Nuuk and incredible landscapes in Italy. When you are not on site, you will be based out of the QuadSAT HQ running tests and preparing for service assignments. The QuadSAT team will provide you with relevant trainings on the use of our products.

Job Expectations
As an RF Technician at QuadSAT, you will travel the world testing and verifying customer antennas. When you are not on site, you will be based out of the QuadSAT HQ running tests and preparing for service assignments. Responsibilities
- Leading antenna test campaigns on customer’s sites or at HQ in Denmark, participating in planning, executing, and delivering final reports to customers.
- Generate measurement results and communicate them to stakeholder through reports, data visualisation, etc.
- Maintenance of RF equipment and components in the R&D workshop and production, to ensure testability accuracy.
- Conduct troubleshooting in the field and be able to offer inputs and solutions.
- Execution and documentation of internal test campaigns, product development and continuous system improvement activities in collaboration with R&D.
- Planning, execution, and documentation of on-site measurement assignments, with a focus on RF details, in collaboration with the rest of the QuadSAT team and the customers.
- Contributing to improvements of the Quality System.
- Train new users and customers and assist in developing and improving customer training program.
Knowledge & Skills
- 3 years of practical experience working with electrical, or electronics systems is preferred.
- We envision a practically minded individual, with experience as a VSAT installer or telecommunication technician, having experience with antenna installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to strive in this role.
- Experience with travel assignments is also valued.
- English is our company language, so we expect you to be fluent in English (oral and written).
- You hold great collaboration and communication skills and can seamlessly interact within a team environment and with customers.
- You thrive in an environment with many stakeholders and multiple various tasks and can prioritise these tasks in a proactive and structured way.
- Any experience with drones or knowledge about antenna measurement, (e.g., test chambers, antenna measurement processes, analysing antenna pattern cuts etc., and experience in antenna installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting) would be appreciated but not required.
Travel Demands
- Expected 50-100 days of travel per year.
