KOMPAN Lead Qualifiers are the frontline of marketing for the US. They are the first touchpoint for customers with inbound marketing inquiries, receiving contact through phone, web and email and acting as a KOMPAN brand ambassador, representing both the company and our sales team with the upmost professionalism. They relay these customer inquiries to our sales team through our CRM system. An important part of this role is accurate data entry and comfort with CRM systems. This role is also responsible for lead research and calling across multiple industries. This role requires problem solving skills and Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish lasting relationships and collaboration with outside sales representatives
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries, interest and order inquiries through a variety of channels
  • Increase conversion rate of inbound leads and overall brand penetration efforts across our product lines
  • Field general inquiries related to KOMPAN products from existing customers
  • Create customer profiles with product and project information to strengthen our market intelligence and database, follow-up to ensure information is received, answer questions, and pass-through complete prospect profiles
  • Follow up with existing customers with no recent account activity to reengage
  • Uncover detailed information around client budget, forecasted need, and timeline in order to accurately qualify true sales opportunities into the Direct Sales Rep pipeline
  • Ensure proper documentation of all sale prospects and related follow-up activity via our CRM system
  • Serve as liaison between customers and appropriate company departments to resolve customer questions and problems
  • Focus on increasing volume and quality of leads passed to Direct Sales Reps to increase overall revenue growth
  • Nurturing unqualified leads to keep them in the sales cycle
  • Manage live chat function on website for interested prospects, handing off qualified leads to sales team
  • Provide succinct follow-up via phone and email
  • Support additional functions of marketing team when requested and other tasks as required

Position Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Forward thinker and a proactive problem solver
  • Organized, structured, methodical, and accountable (with accurate data input skills and attention to detail)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, e.g., a good listener
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain energetic in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
