The position
As Assembly Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our medical devices production.

In this exciting position, your broad range of responsibilities will include:
  • Taking charge of complex technical and quality deviation tasks, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Driving improvements in the design of assembly equipment, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Playing a consultative role towards DMD in the design of plastic components for known or potential devices and offering expert inputs to update specifications that align with assembly requirements and quality standards.
  • Educating and mentoring colleagues and business partners on assembly processes, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and best practices, fostering a culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement, enabling colleagues to become more knowledgeable and proficient.
    • You will be based between site Odense or Høje Taastrup and is a visible position working closely with senior management, and with stakeholders of all levels.

    Qualifications
    To succeed in this position, we imagine you:
  • Hold a degree in engineering or any other relevant field.
  • Several years’ experience working with production assembly lines. It is advantageous from the pharmaceutical industry, but we welcome applications from those who have relevant experience from other highly regulated industries.
  • Have a strong understanding of GMP and medical devices production.
  • Demonstrate a technical proficiency in assembly processes and equipment troubleshooting. Pack experience is also interesting to us.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
    • As a person, you are driven by attention to detail and committed to maintain the highest standards of product quality. You possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to deliver a message in a clear way and see yourself as being a true team-player. Finally, you have a proactive approach to process improvement with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.

    About the department
    [xxxxx] is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years.  Our department is working to expand the capacity of our Finished Product manufacturing. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.  Our new organization has just started its growth journey, and this is a unique chance to be part of a start-up environment within a large multinational organisation.     Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) is a part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. At FPM, we not only manufacture all finished products for people living with serious chronic diseases, we also use our competencies to drive technology leadership and improve standards across our core technologies to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for [xxxxx].
    Our global network consists of around 4,000 colleagues across ten countries. Here, we are responsible for the manufacturing of all finished products, including devices, needles, assembly, and packaging.
