We are looking for a dynamic and assertive leader to join our EHS Team. In this role, you will take charge of creating safe, sustainable, and compliant work environments on our construction site while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance are documented, monitored and maintained. This is an opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team and contribute to shaping the future direction of 's innovative and sustainable projects. Your key responsibilities will involve:
• Lead the development and implementation of safety strategies and processes for construction safety on building sites.
• Serve as a key point of contact for EHS stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with EHS networks and external partners.
• Drive initiatives aligned with the Circular for Zero Strategy and NN sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, focusing on fire safety, construction safety, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Build and lead a strong team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. It is expected that you thrive in a dynamic environment with direct communication while managing multiple priorities effectively. The position is based in Odense. Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years management experience in one or more of the following areas: Nature and Circular for Zero strategies, EHS & Design, Construction safety on building sites.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to assertively influence and manage stakeholders.
• A proactive and resilient attitude, thriving in direct and dynamic communication settings.
• A proven ability to make an impact and set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (Danish is a plus). Your natural curiosity will be crucial to your success. You have a constructive approach to problem-solving and focus on finding sustainable solutions together with your colleagues while building a solid culture in the new team. About the Department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Prod-uct Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). Our team is responsible for designing, planning, and building major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are dedicated to serving the needs of millions of patients by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. With a global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
