You will join BEC Tech Academy who deliver business value by closing the skills gaps for our +450 IT developers across our three development divisions. Our focus is on growing technical skills to enable the BEC strategy and our movement towards more scalable, decentralized and open technologies. Besides, your passion for modern tech, you are also a natural role model who thrive when inspiring other IT developers to perform in their role.
We offer an opportunity to work with both tech and people in an informal environment. You will spend your time divided between the business and in our team.
What will this job include?
You will be responsible for partnering with the business and address their future demands for technologies, coding languages and IT skills. The role includes:
Your profile
As a person, you can balance your profound tech knowledge with a relentless customer centricity.
You are curious both when it comes to business challenges and the new tech opportunities. With your strong communication and facilitation skills you naturally create followership and energy towards changing people.
Our desired candidate holds:
+10 years of experience as IT developer, IT consultant, Tech Lead or Technical Coach.
A strong foundation within Java and knowledge within Cloud and Test Automation.
Experience from an agile organisation (preferable using SAFe, BDD and TDD)
Thorough understanding of DevOps

- Advising the business, leaders and IT developers (teams), on their skills needs and future performance
- Enabling teams and IT developers to a faster performance promoting best practice, standards and easy access to reference implementation
- Designing and launching tech learning paths to the divisions and facilitate work implementations
- Mobilise trainers from the business in creating successful learning interventions across BEC
- Facilitate knowledge sharing events i.e. tech labs, communities of practice
