We are searching for a manager for Data & Analytics Architecture
This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, Denmark, and you will lead the Data & Analytics team in our Domain & Program Architecture Area. We are in charge of our decentralized and embedded approach to software architecture, and we have significant impact on the technology transformation of bec through guidance, alignment with Product strategy and a balanced approach to short-term and long-term goals.
This manager role offers a leadership challenge across several domains, architects and key stakeholders inside the domains, both development directors and product managers. The job is light on day-to-day task management, and you will spend most of your time on leadership, guidance, and influence. The team is experienced and needs your help to find its next level, including increasing the impact of Architecture. At bec, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely on occasion. Your direct manager will be Ole Hauris Sørensen, area director.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Provide support, guidance, and resources to empower the architects to reach their full potential and take ownership of their work
- Ensure delivery and impact of key deliverables, including target architecture and roadmap updates
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, promoting psychological safety for all team members across locations in Denmark and Poland – occasional traveling required
- Utilize your sense-making abilities to navigate complex situations, gather insights, and make informed decisions alongside architects and stakeholders
- Cultivate a strong organizational culture that encourages collaboration, followership, and a genuine sense of purpose
- Connect individual efforts with the bigger picture, ensuring every team member understands their role in driving the organizational impact
To succeed you will have:
- A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
- Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role with a focus on sense-making, problem-solving, and achieving meaningful outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine love for helping others grow and succeed
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain exceptional teams, fostering a positive work culture
- Open-minded and adaptable, with experience working in diverse environments and cultures
- Passionate about making a difference and creating a positive impact on people's journeys
It’s nice-to-have:
- Experience from Finance and/or banking
- Experience from IT Architecture
- Experience with software development
