Become a part of our Strategic Business Development team in the Water Division

As we want to create even more value for our customers we are looking for a new Digital Business Consultant to lead the digital transformation journey within our water business, hereby setting the strategic direction.
With direct reference to our Head of Strategic Business Development, you will join a team that focuses on globally developing Kamstrup’s future water business in close collaboration with the organization, based on deep market understanding and customer insights. You will maintain a holistic overview across our business, and be the front runner in developing our overall strategic direction and ensuring buy-in throughout our organization.
Digital Business Consultant with the ability to envision a digitized future
In the newly establish position as Digital Business Consultant, you will be responsible for creating the coming strategic direction for a more holistic solutions based approach in our water business. Hereby you will have a great impact on Kamstrup’s future business models and offerings in order to optimize the value we create for our customers. You will work in close collaboration with customers, Commercial Product Managers, external partners, R&D and Water Division Management in order to set the strategic direction for digital solutions in our water business.
More specifically your primary responsibilities will be:
In the job, you can expect 30-40 travel days per year. If you are not located in Denmark, you must be able to travel to our headquarters in Denmark often.
Personality matters
You may already possess knowledge about the water business, but more importantly you are ambitious and willing to learn. We expect you to be curious of nature, and that you have a profound interest in how our customers perceive value. It is also necessary that you have a strong drive towards seeing how your ideas play out in a real world setting. Furthermore, you need to have excellent stakeholder management skills, externally as well as internally.
You have minimum 3 years of experience e.g. from a consultancy or a similar business where you have taken part in a digital transformation of the business from a strategic perspective. Moreover, you have a proven track record of exploring different business models which has led to the digitalization or commercialization of service offerings.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish is an asset, but not a requirement

- Set the strategic direction for our long-term digital transformation aspirations and servitization journey
- Act as change manager on many levels, driving the changes within our organization
- Experiment with financial modelling and new business models
- Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders to strengthen a solution based mindset in Kamstrup
- Leading early exploratory phases of value based innovation projects towards our digitalization goals
- Create and maintain an overview of the digital eco-systems that surround our customers
- Work with external partners that can help us on our journey
