Become a part of our Solution Management team
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on the development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a Solution Manager for our Solution Management team in our electricity division.
With direct reference to our Head of Solution Management, Electricity, you will become a part of a team consisting of 6 colleagues, who work with matching the needs of the customers with Kamstrup’s products and technical solutions. Professional sparring and knowledge sharing is paramount in our team. As Solution Management is a part of Business Development, some of your tasks will be related to this area. It is therefore an advantage if you are passionate about using your experience and insight to understand and implement business models, partner management and market strategies.
A job in the intersection between customer needs and Kamstrup’s solutions
Together with our sales division, Product Management, Solution Architects and our team of Subject Matter Experts (SME), you will have a defining role in Kamstrup’s customer projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right solutions are offered and implemented, and that these are integrated effectively into the customer’s IT environment and their business processes. In combination with the tasks from Business Development, you will also play a defining role in the intersection between the customer’s business needs and Kamstrup’s solutions by providing the best possible solution for the customer – both current and future solutions.
Your focus will be primarily on the electricity meter. In addition, your primary responsibilities will be to:
You will furthermore engage in close collaboration and knowledge sharing with our R&D and Product Management department to ensure that you are updated on our solutions, and that the market requirements that you identify are communicated into the organisation.
You can expect 10-20 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for a person with a great personal drive and the ability to professionally represent Kamstrup. You have a long technical education as an engineer or similar, with interest in IT environments and business processes. It will furthermore be an asset if you have 3-5 years of Subject Matter Expert experience with electricity meters or electricity distribution, as well as with one or more of the following areas:

Furthermore, you have an ambitious and professional approach to tackling your work tasks. As you will have a broad contact surface both within and outside the organisation, you are a master at creating relations and you thrive in an extroverted role. You are team-oriented and ready to make a difference in your daily work.
You are fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish will be an asset.

- Provide specialist counsel on our products in the dialogues with customers
- Assume technical responsibility in answering the customer’s Tender material
- Ensure the implementation and integration of the solution in the customer’s IT environment and work processes in close collaboration with our project department
- Lead smaller but concentrated pilot projects in collaboration with customers
- Collaborate with Business Development in developing new business models, new solutions, and supporting markets
