With direct reference to our PT Manager, you will be a part of our PT team which currently consists of 10 highly technical colleagues, where challenging tasks, cross team cooperation and an informal tone are key elements. The team handles implementation and optimization of products, machines and processes across the Water and Heat/Cooling productions. However, as our new PT Engineer you will primary work in the HC production with a group of 3 colleagues. We work towards ensuring high quality of our products, as well as ensuring high uptime in all our products and deliveries.

A job with focus on new equipment and optimization
In the job as PT Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the factory regarding production equipment, processes and systems. Furthermore you will be responsible for continuously optimizing our production. Moreover, you will have a proactive role regarding change management when implementing new processes, machines or similar in close cooperation with technicians, operators, quality persons among others.

More specific your tasks will be to:

  • Be part of the daily operation by solving issues with products, systems and equipment Ensure continuous improvement and challenge status quo
  • Ensure implementation of new equipment, processes on your own and by participating in relevant projects.

Personality Matters
We are looking for an innovative quality-conscious PT Engineer who can take an important role in our high-tech production and who will be able to use previous experience to contribute to the further success of Kamstrup. You have a bachelor in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or a master’s degree within production such as Cand. Tech. or similar and have at least 2 years of experience as PT Engineer in an automated production.

Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have:

  • Broad knowledge of related technical production systems, including IT, as well as general processes within industrial production
  • Experience in troubleshooting within automated production - both mechanical and software
  • Experience with inter-disciplinary projects and cooperation in a high-volume production
  • Knowledge and understanding of terms like PFMEA, OOE, OEE, tact time, first pass yield, etc.

In addition, it will be an advantage if you:

  • Have experience with ERP systems. Preferable IFS
  • Have experience within PLC and robots in an industrial production environment. Preferable Omron
  • Have experience in drawing and constructing smaller mechanical parts, preferable Solid Works

Finally, you possess the ability to challenge status quo in order to ensure the best solutions within the production – without losing sight of Kamstrup’s overall goal.

In addition, it is a requirement that you master English and Danish on a high level – both orally and written.
