DSP Engineer with expertise in build and tools workflow

We welcome you onboard to join our dedicated and highly skilled DSP Team, which is part of our R&D department. Here, you can look forward to developing simulation tools, improve test execution and optimize build performance for deliveries in the Audiological Solutions group. We work in an agile setup and you will be part of a feature team with 6-8 team members.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Becoming owner of build and tools workflow within the DSP area
• Ensuring unified DSP developer workspace environment across developers
• Developing and deploying new tools and build scripts used in Audiological Solutions
• Developing new workflows and tools used for Machine Learning
• Driving initiatives to improve build and automatic test speed
• Influencing tools roadmap in close collaboration with architects and other stakeholders
• Becoming the key work partner towards the Team Continuous, which is our DevOps team and responsible for automatic test frameworks, build configurations and build scripts for product releases

Your contribution
We expect you to hold a MSc. in Engineering, preferably within digital signal processing. The ideal candidate has a background as DSP developer and in addition 2-4 years of experience with simulation tools, test automation and build flows within the DSP domain.
More specifically, we are looking for the following competencies:
• Competent DSP and Software Development skills
• Experience with Python, Matlab and Simulink
• Knowledge of good software practices such as software design and test-driven development
• Experience in deploying CI and CD, e.g TeamCity or Jenkins
• Familiar with Windows & Linux environments
• Knowledge of Kubeflow, Scons, Java, Perforce/GIT and Virtualisation, e.g. oVirt is a plus
As a person, you would describe yourself as someone, who works well within teams and thrives in a supportive, service-minded role. You possess strong communication skills, both orally and in writing and appear to be systematic, structured, and analytical. Furthermore, you are motivated by dealing with numerous stakeholders and collaborating closely with your team colleagues in a dynamic environment. You should be open-minded, self-driven and inquisitive, challenging solutions and ideas. You are comfortable with seeking the optimal solution through a constructive dialogue with others.
