DSP Specialist for Audiological Solutions

We welcome you onboard our dedicated and highly skilled Core DSP Team, which is part of the Audiological Solutions group within R&D. Here you can look forward to work in a leading DSP team that develops advanced audiological solutions for future hearing aids. We work in an agile setup, and in your daily work, you will be part of a SCRUM team with 6-8 team members.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Development of audiology/signal processing features and algorithms
  • Feature design and verification in collaboration with test team
  • Post development support for DSP related features
  • Support Marketing with technical documentation for new DSP features
  • Idea generation and innovation projects for audiology features/signal processing
  • Prototyping of new audiological concepts

Your contribution

We expect you to hold at least a M.Sc. in Engineering with strong competences in DSP. The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of experience with algorithm design, simulation tools, tests, measurements and verification within the audio domain.

More specifically, we are looking for the following competencies:

  • Strong background in signal processing
  • Specialist knowledge in one or more areas of noise reduction, directionality, feedback management and echo cancellation will be a plus
  • Good understanding of acoustics and experience from measurements in the lab
  • Knowledge of psychoacoustics will further be a plus
  • Experience working with Matlab, Simulink and Python
  • Knowledge of good software practices, such as software design and test-driven development
  • Familiar with Windows development environments
  • Preferable experience within Machine Learning

As a person, you would describe yourself as someone, who works well within teams and likes technical challenges. You possess strong communication skills, both orally and in writing and appear to be systematic, structured, and analytical. Furthermore, you are motivated by dealing with numerous stakeholders and collaborating closely with your team colleagues in a dynamic environment. You should be open-minded, self-driven and inquisitive, challenging solutions and ideas. You are comfortable with seeking the optimal solution through a constructive dialogue with others.
