Global Business Consultant - Demant, Global IT
Do you want to deliver first class digital transformation solutions for the Hearing Care business area of Demant? Do you have experience and a strong interest for ERP solutions, more specifically Finance and Back Office processes? And do you want to take on a role where you, together with a project team, will be in charge of transforming existing business processes and functionalities to a global way of working?
We are looking for an eager and curious Business Consultant who wants to become a lean anchor for our international Hearing Care companies (clinics) and who wants to take our current ERP solution to another level. From the very beginning you will be an essential part of one of our global ERP implementation projects.

In your new job, you will be a key player on our journey to implement a full-scale ERP solution across all the hearing care companies in the Demant group. We offer you the chance to be part of a unique team which we have carefully put together over the past years.
Join our department of Sales & Operations Solutions – Located in Global IT
You will be joining our Global IT Organization which has more than 400 employees with main hubs in Denmark, Poland, US and Asia Pacific region. This organization plays an essential role when it comes to reaching the business goals of Demant.
More specifically you will join our department of Sales & Operations solutions. In total we around 20 colleagues located at our offices in Denmark and Poland focusing on IT business processes for our hearing companies around the world. You will be working together with other Business Consultants, Application Consultants, Developers and Solution Architects. You will be based at the Demant headquarters in Smørum, and you will report directly to the Senior Manager in Hearing Care IT.
Be close to our Hearing Care companies
Your working day will offer a wide palette of challenging tasks which will span all phases of solution life cycles, Planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, training and support.
You can look forward to taking on some of the following responsibilities:
- Work with the project team on transforming existing business processes and functionalities to a global way of working
- Focus on our retail processes going from front office to back office in Dynamics AX and POS, making sure that all operational processes are financially correct and leaving the local team equipped to independently run the business following global standards
- Work with functional designs in cooperation with our Dynamics AX architects
- Ensure Change Management and ensure user adoption
- Train and demo our solution for internal users, and stakeholders in general
Solution oriented & systematic approach
It´s important that you have experience working with an ERP solution and that you have a willingness to learn and an interest for back-office processes seen from a system point of view.
Essentially, you should be interested in the technical aspects of the applications, but it is equally important that you thrive in being close to the business and our internal users.
Maybe you have a bachelor or master’s degree either from CBS or ITU with a focus on IT. Apart from that it´s important that you have some years of experience from a global IT enterprise environment where you have gained experience from other ERP projects deploying a global template.
As a person you are easy-going and able to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You are solution oriented, ambitious and driven to succeed. Furthermore, interpreting, understanding and solving challenges is second nature to you, as is a systematic approach and a good perspective.
Finally, you are a positive and open-minded person, eager to learn and develop your skills to meet the needs of a growing business in a digital world.
