The role’s impact

As Strategic Collaboration Manager, you will be in a highly visible role that will directly impact growth initiatives across the business, and you will be a key part in securing the success of our future digital ecosystem. Proactive collaboration and creation of strong relationships to strategic collaboration partners on our digital solutions are crucial for our future success and ability to manoeuvre in the market.

In your endeavours to secure the best experience for our customers and users, you will work closely with our Product Managers on the business side and key functions in R&D and IT as well as external stakeholders. Building digital solutions such as apps are by nature dependent on external factors. It is a new role we are implementing in our team, and you will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Digital Solutions.

A large part of the role is to manage, coordinate and drive internal and external alignment and planning meetings to ensure a strategic and consistent approach to our external Strategic Collaboration partners such as Apple, Google, and other large players in the mobile and connectivity realm. Our apps are made available to the general market through respective app store platforms, and it is key for us to ensure a smooth user experience on many different smart phone models and key connectivity standards which is why we invest in the collaboration with external partners.

Finally, the role will drive the documentation on product specific data needed to acquire necessary partner certifications. The actual content will be delivered by product programs so gathering this in a consistent format and delivering it to the necessary external partners will be part of this role.

Daily work in details

  • Define and drive a digital 3rd party collaboration partner strategy and gradually take more lead on developing external partnerships. This includes how to capitalize on this in our future release of product related solutions and services and their co-existence with smart-phones today and in the future.
  • Maintain stakeholder maps for each partner to ensure that communication and alignment happens consistently and to the right contacts.
  • Build and maintain a strong network and contacts within the external partner organization including taking necessary trips to contacts to ensure success.
  • Drive the documentation on new product releases that relate to external partner certifications by gathering the necessary information from product programs.
  • Arrange and structure all internal and external meetings related to the digital collaboration partners incl. structuring and following-up on all relevant issues, actions, decisions, owners etc. for clarification towards external partners.
  • Taking the lead in communicating clearly to all internal and external stakeholders.

You should expect around 10-15 days of travel each year.

Qualifications

To be successful in you new position, we expect you to possess most of the following skills and qualifications:

  • Educational background within business administration and experience within building and maintaining networks and partnerships. Master’s degree will be meriting.
  • Minimum +3 years of relevant experience in a similar position i.e. role within project management, stakeholder management.
  • Tech-savvy background with experience and natural interest of the smart phone & connectivity market.
  • Ideally you have experience from medical devices or hearing solutions industries in a matrix set-up.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining partner relationships with a special focus on Apple and Google.
