Key Responsibilities

In your new position as VP for Commercial Operations you will be heading a team of 22 people responsible for ensuring that global Hearing Aid plans are executed locally in a way that maximizes the business across all Hearing Aid brands.

The team’s work is the link between the central and the local organizations and is critical for ensuring that global plans and strategies are executed optimally in local markets with respect and understanding for local market and business conditions. Thereby the team is a critical link in our strategy to grow our business to become #1 in the market.

You will become part of the Hearing Instrument Group’s management team and refer to the President of the Hearing Instrument Group.

Summed up, you can look forward to the following challenges:

• Drive successful collaborations with local General Managers and Market Managers/Regional Sales Managers to push the hearing aid business forward, ensuring successful strategic account and private label management.

• Develop industry leading sales tools and training. Share best practice across brands and markets with strong anchoring in Demant defined processes and principles.

• Create One Global Sales and Marketing plan, facilitate translation into local plans.

• Create an efficient link between sales, central sales, marketing, and R&D functions to secure a strong outside-in perspective back to the central Hearing Instrument organization.

• Lead in a well-defined matrix between Sales, Local Sales Companies and hearing instrument group functions. Follow up on plans and execute/support mitigations

Expert management and marketing skills

To be a success in this position, we expect you to have strong management skills, preferably from a position at similar level in a complex, international matrix organization with many stakeholders.

Since you will be heavily influencing our brands' effectiveness and the way we grow as a company, we hope to see a full-fledged marketing expert who radiates professionalism, energy, and tenacity.

You have a well proven track record of creating significant results within sales and marketing, preferably in a MedTech company. Your integrity and analytical skills are second to none, and you have a keen eye for making best practice applicable to the level of competency in the organization and develop from there.

Your unique people skills allow you to effortlessly take informal leadership of diverse groups and lead to results - and change if necessary. You are informal and capable of connecting with people across the entire organization.
Your educational background has a strong focus on business administration and marketing, and we expect you to have at least 10 years of experience from international sales and marketing organizations where sales and/or sales excellence has been a key priority.

It goes without saying that you communicate effortlessly in English on native level. Finally, you are ready to handle international travel as part of your working routines.
