Infrastructure Automation Specialist - Global IT
Are you experienced in designing, building, and optimizing Microsoft Core Infrastructure technology in a global environment? Do you enjoy working with Powershell, Windows Server and Active Directory which is the very core of our IT infrastructure?
For our department of Core Infrastructure Solutions, we are looking for a brand-new Infrastructure Automation Specialist. Together with our highly skilled team you will take our core infrastructure components to the next level on all aspects by focusing on scripting and automation.
As our new Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will get to design, build, and optimize a global enterprise environment providing mission critical IT to more than 18.000 users all over the world.

Joining Demant you will get a chance to join a well-established, international company.
You will join Core Infrastructure Solutions which is a part of Demant Global IT. More specifically, you will join a team consisting of 12 people and you will work together with architects, consultants and developers. You will work together with our cloud team and server team. Other relevant stakeholders in Global IT will be Operations, Service Desk, Application teams and our Infrastructure teams.
Design, build and optimize Microsoft Core Infrastructure technology
We are dedicated to continuously improve and optimize our IT infrastructure, and we believe that automation and being data driven is an important part of that. We believe in an open and honest dialogue and are committed to learn from our mistakes and to continue developing our services and ourselves.
Joining the Core Infrastructure Solutions team, you will:
- Design, build and optimize Microsoft Core Infrastructure technology in a global environment servicing 18.000 users
- Participate/lead IT Security initiatives targeting end-users as well as IT admins
- Participate in IT projects, both in the design and actual implementation of the solutions before handing over to operations
Experience with Powershell, Active Directory & Azure Automation
You will be working with different technologies and components. We are looking for candidates with experience in the following technologies:
- Powershell
- Active Directory
- Azure AD
- Azure Automation
- Azure DevOps
- Office 365
- Windows Server
- PowerApps
You most likely also agree that Powershell is the greatest thing that happened to the Microsoft platform on this side of the century. We use Powershell heavily and we think automation into all aspects of our daily work.
Experience from an IT Infrastructure environment
To succeed in this position, it´s important that you have several years of experience from an IT Infrastructure environment. Currently you may be working as a specialist or consultant and your background could be a combination of development and IT Infrastructure experience.
When it comes to personal skills, you are curious and enjoy learning new things. Furthermore, you have an ability to quickly translate business needs into real world use cases.
Structure is one of your preferences when it comes to planning and prioritization and you can quickly adapt to new situations. Finally, you have a “doing things smarter” mindset.
