Network Solution Specialist - Global IT

The Network Solution Specialist will be a very important and valued part of this mission and will have freedom and empowerment to define and secure our future global network.

Join Datacenter Solutions in Infrastructure & Operations
Demant is a global company with more than 18,000 global colleagues, who all use our IT solutions. – To ensure this, you will have more than 500 employees in Global IT across Europe, US and the Asia Pacific region supporting you.
As Network Solution Specialist you will join the Datacenter Solutions team, consisting of 8 people. It is a part of the Infrastructure & Operations department where 80 people in total are working out of our offices in Denmark and Poland. You will be working alongside specialists in the areas of Datacenter facilities, Network, Telephony, Server & Server Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Virtual Workspace (Citrix/VDI)
Upcoming Projects & Tasks
Soon to come, we will together cover an exciting variation of projects. Examples could be implementation of network segmentation, migration to SD-WAN, integrating merging companies into our IT infrastructure, and development and maintaining of our roadmaps. To sum up, you can look forward to the responsibilities below:

In your daily job, your most important stakeholders will be our Datacenter Operations department in Poland. Furthermore, you will work with cooperating departments like Core Infrastructure Solutions in Denmark consisting of other solution specialists in the areas of Microsoft Core, Microsoft Cloud and SCCM. You will also communicate with Infrastructure Management and ServiceDesk.
Good experience with Cisco based networks and Security products
To succeed in this position, it´s important that you have several years of experience from an IT Infrastructure environment.
Currently you may be working as a specialist or consultant. It is important that you have experience with Cisco based networks from a larger/international company. Maybe you have been working as a hands-on network specialist or have experience as a Solution Architect or similar.
Furthermore, you possess experience with security products, especially Cisco and security processes. To sum up we are looking for:
- Broad and deep Cisco competencies within LAN, WAN and Security areas (skills in public cloud networking would be a bonus)
- Preferably CCNP Enterprise certified (or similar)
- Working knowledge – or better – of the following Cisco products: Nexus, ACI, Firepower, ASA, AnyConnect, SNA, DNA-C, ISE, Umbrella, SecureX and Cisco Meraki
When it comes to personal skills, you are openminded and inquisitive as well as collaborative and easy going. Structure is one of your preferences when it comes to planning and prioritization and you can quickly adapt to new situations. That you are curious and enjoy learning new things is also important.
Finally, you are a Team-Player, and you enjoy creating innovative solutions both being some of our important values.
