In Demant we are driving state-of-the-art innovations and global service excellence within Hearing Healthcare, and we are now looking for a consultative Pre-Press Specialist to join our team in our International Graphic Solutions department at our global headquarters in Smørum.

Use your know-how to ensure high standards on printed materials
The team is a part of Global Marketing and on a daily basis you will work with colleagues both in Warsaw and here in Denmark. This is a challenging position were you together with your pre-press colleagues, will be responsible for the quality assurance on all printed materials as well as the print files handling to the printing houses. You will also be guiding colleagues in graphic print productions, material types, as well as being a proactive partner in relation to our external partners regarding material specifications and prices quotations. You will be working with:
- Guiding colleagues in the production of printed materials, paper/cardboard types and colours etc. – especially on packaging, POS, and marketing elements
- Being a proactive partner in the specifications to the printing houses and collecting price quotations
- Prepress pre-flight and quality assurance on all printed materials
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing smooth and efficient Graphic production processes
- Ensure that materials are compliant with Brand Guidelines, standards, best practices, and that deadlines are always kept
- Finalize jobs in internal systems
- Close cooperation with international colleagues like graphic designers, planners, and project managers to ensure team deliverables
Our imagination
We imagine that you might have an educational background within graphic design, but what is most imnportant, is that you have solid experience and several years of relevant work experience with Pre-Press and the print production process. You are an expert when it comes to Adobe Acrobat and have solid knowledge of Adobe InDesign. We also expect that you have knowledge of various print materials, paper, coating, print technology, colour management etc.
As we are a global organization, we expect that you can communicate effortless in English. Furthermore, we hope that you can tick of as many of the following boxes:
- Attention to details
- Focus on quality and thoroughness
- A team player able to work in remote teams
- Experienced in packaging, POS, and printed marketing elements
- Understanding of graphic materials preparation processes
- Experience in graphical production consultancy
- Proactive mindset and good communication skills
- Willingness to travel to Poland a couple of times a year
