Smørum

You start your day with a call to the sales leader in Australia, where you follow up on the progress after the Sales Excellence workshop you facilitated last month. You support and guide them through the next steps and share your views on how they can move forward. You then continue your work on developing our online Sales Leader community, before ending the day with a quick touch point to join forces with some of your colleagues on a key strategic initiative.

Welcome to Team Sales Excellence
We are a team of 4 committed sales excellence enthusiasts, and we love what we do. We are part of Commercial Excellence, which is a key ingredient in the Demant strategy for Growth, who we share office space with, along with the rest of the International Sales organization. It creates a great working environment with a lot of knowledge sharing, where help and expertise are always just a colleague away.

We support our Sales Subsidiaries in maximizing their commercial impact through individual country support as well as broader deployment of business-related tools and processes and best practice sharing.

Commercial Excellence Manager
As our new Commercial Excellence Manager your responsibility will be to work closely with Sales Leaders across the world to identify good practices, facilitate best practice sharing both online and off-line and build networks across the globe.

You will be joining us at a really interesting time. There is a great appetite for Sales Excellence in Demant and also many opportunities to really make a difference for our Sales Companies. This means, that if you have some good ideas or new views on how to do things, we are all ears” says your new manager, Senior Director, Jannie Paasovaara.

With your experience on how to simplify complexity and engage and motivate stakeholders from many different markets, you will be crucial in implementing Sales Excellence practices globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead our broader engagement journey for Sales Excellence practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops with Sales Leaders – both physical and virtual
  • Communicate global processes and tools in a simple and engaging manner.
  • Develop our online Sales Leader community (FUSE platform) to enable easy access and onboarding to best practices across the globe.
  • Build relationships and support markets as country liaison on Commercial Excellence related subjects. (Segmentation, Targeting, Key Account Management, Launch Tracking, Sales Management, Team Engagement etc.)

You should expect 8-12 travel days a year.

Are you our new colleague?
We imagine that you have an educational background within business, management, strategy, finance, economics, or similar, combined with a motivating mindset with a true desire to assist local colleagues to succeed.

We are looking for a positive and out-going person who can successfully engage with sales leaders about process improvements. You are committed and work well both individually and as part of a team, and we expect you to be structured and comfortable working with measurable targets.

The optimal candidate can checkmark most of the following:

  • A good communicator with proven stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working across different countries and cultures in a global or regional position.
  • Successful in driving projects from ideation to delivery using a variation of motivational elements for getting teams involved.
  • Solid analytical toolbox and comfortable to use Excel in your tasks when needed.
  • Either a couple of years of experience working as an internal/external consultant or working with Sales Managers/General managers to succeed in their tasks.
  • Super user in PowerPoint and open for working with new technologies, such as our online community platform FUSE.
  • Fluent in English and preferably one other language
