About us
As Senior Global Mobility Specialist, we offer you an exciting role in a dynamic and global company which offers lots of possibility for personal and professional development and growth. As Senior Global Mobility Specialist you will play an instrumental part in supporting and developing the Global Mobility agenda in Demant.
You will be part of the Rewards and Mobility team. The team is part of Demant’s HR function at Demant’s headquarter in Smørum, where we are around 40 colleagues who provide HR support to an array of Demant’s brands, and work closely with a global network of HR professionals in Demant entities around the world.
Location: You are ideally based at our Headquarter in Smørum, Denmark, but another location or a hybrid work arrangement can be considered for the right candidate.
What is the job about?
In the role as Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire international employee mobility agenda, which contains A-Z handling of international assignments, permanent transfers, and remote working arrangements. This includes:
- Providing advisory to the business on global mobility solutions and conducting briefings with employees and their families.
- Preparing cost projections, assignment compensation packages and assignment letters. Ensuring compliance with e.g. employment law, tax law, social security legislation, immigration law).
- Overseeing assignment management processes.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to both managers and employees on all mobility related aspects
- Liaising with and coordinating external vendors (legal, tax, immigration, relocation, etc.).
- Being the one point of contact for the candidate, their accompanying family, and internal stakeholders.
We are in the process of reviewing the entire global mobility strategy and setup, so if you have an interest in contributing to the development of policies and designing processes this is a big plus, and you will have lots of opportunity to influence and shape the way Demant will work with international employee mobility going forward.
What do you need to apply?
We imagine that the ideal candidate is characterized by the below, but we want to hear from you even if you do not tick all the below boxes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Global Mobility in an international organization.
- International experience (either work or study).
- Expert knowledge within one of more areas of international tax, pension, social insurance, and immigration law.
- Ability to understand complex issues and communicate these in a simple way.
- Works independently and is able at managing and prioritizing multiple work assignments at the same time.
- Interculturally savvy
