The Team
We are expanding our Competitor Insights team to strengthen our understanding of the market and to provide an even stronger delivery of insights to our internal stakeholders. In our team we believe that the best results come from a collaborative way of working and acting as a team, where everyone contribute with what they do best. We have an open dialogue, and always encourage different viewpoints to enable the best possible output.
We keep a keen eye on competitors and feed the organization with relevant insights regarding competitors and enable an outside-in perspective and we are now adding a market insights profile to the team.
Competitor Insights Director, Frederik, describes the culture as; “open, forthcoming and flat, which enables good discussions and sharing of knowledge. The level of experience and knowledge about hearing care is vast, along with the desire to improve the life of people with hearing loss.
Currently our team consist of three team members with different backgrounds and diverse skillsets. You will have lots of opportunities to meet with colleagues across the organization, professionally as well as in our many social events.

Your main responsibilities
You will identify market potential across key markets from a data point of view and present this in a compelling way, based on data. The sources of information you will work with can be about sales, demographic development and market penetration etc. In this role, it is important to understand the business and the different perspectives and focus areas across different departments, that you will work with.

Your professional background and personal competencies
We imagine you have a master’s degree in business administration, finance, or similar. You have a solid business acumen and understand how to monitor and structure different data sources, and you thrive combining these skills.
You get energy from networking at all levels of a global organization. You continuously aim to sharpen your understanding of how your work can support decision making across different departments. You are motivated by running and developing projects on your own. As a person, you have a friendly and approachable nature that makes it easy for you to engage with others.
Further you have great skills in Excel and in Power BI and you are fluent in English, written as well as verbally.
There can be several paths leading to this job, but most importantly, you have a positive and engaging mindset, curiosity, and an openness to learn from your colleagues, as well as an analytical approach.

- Understand the industry and the market dynamics. Collect data from the key markets, finance, and industry associations as well as external sources like the UN, to enable your stakeholders to understand the market dynamics.
- Enabling data to flow to you. Structuring the data, as well as cleaning and verifying.
- Understand the business and different needs from Product Management to the Brand Teams, and use this understanding when you turn data into insights and present for key stakeholders in a compelling way.
- Be an ambassador for an outside-in perspective, when you engage with stakeholders.
