About us
Our team is building the embedded software for all accessories to the Oticon hearing aids. This includes devices like chargers, tv adapters, and microphones for class-rooms. To ensure the quality of our software we have an extensive automated test coverage, both unit testing and integration testing running on real hardware. We are looking for a student assistant with software development experience to help us expand and improve the tests and tooling in our development pipeline. On our team you will be an integrated part of the daily work, participating in standups and other activities. Knowledge sharing and collaboration is high-priority and we combine a friendly and informal atmosphere with some very high quality standards.
The position is for 10-15 hours per week. and you can expect tasks like:
• Implement automated integration tests using python
• Expanding the software tools we use to debug our hardware test setups
• Improving scripts and tooling in our build pipeline
About you
You are finishing your bachelor or have just started your masters in the field of software development. You have practical experience with software development, an interest in embedded software, and you understand the value of continuous integration and automation. You are a proactive person who likes to solve problems and who is not afraid to reach out to colleagues for input and help. We are preferably looking for people with the following competencies and experiences (don’t worry, we will teach you what you don’t know already):
• Python
• Git
• C++
• Other languages like C#, C, bash
• Experience with embedded systems
• Fluent in written and spoken English
