Senior Manager in the Electronics Group
Oticon, part of the Demant group, is a large, fast-growing company in the medical-technical industry where our 1000 engineers are committed to delivering high tech solutions for hearing impaired people worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Manager in our R&D Hearing Instrument Electronics group, which is responsible for developing all electronic designs for Demant´s hearing aid solutions. The Electronics group is part of the Hardware function that develops complete platform solutions consisting of both mechanical and electronic parts.

You’ll be leading our Core Electronics team consisting of 11 highly skilled electronics designers – Core electronics is the team focused on the engine part of our amplifiers. The mission for you will be clear, to support our growth - through highly skilled and motivated designers. You will be responsible for providing daily guidance, prioritization and development of the team and its members. All inspired by your enthusiasm for people.
You will, furthermore, also join the leader team of the Electronics group. Where you in collaboration with your peers will plan and implement the necessary activities for the smooth daily operation of the group. Moreover, you will contribute to the strategic development of the group and its goals.
Below, you find some of your most important responsibilities:
Experience in people leadership and transformation
We are looking for candidates with a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering, who have extensive design experience in medical devices, consumer electronics, or similar fields. This should enable you to have an in-depth dialog with the designers about their tasks and to influence and guide them in their daily activities.
To excel in your new position, it’s essential to possess several years of experience in developing people.You know what it takes to win people for your cause and make them follow you. Not because they must, but because they want to.
We constantly aim to have the best organization and processes in the industry. We are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. As our new Senior Manager, you have the experience and know what it takes to guide people through transformations.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge or curiosity for usingagile methodologies in the development of electronics and hardware in general. We believe in - and are working towards - an agile / SAFe based organization for the future.

As a person you are characterized by mastering the fine art of leading and developing highly specialized and dedicated employees. Therefore, your organisation skills are well developed, and you possess good communication capabilities.
