Head of Commercial Learning and Training for Demant Hearing Care
Demant’s retail business has experienced a significant growth organically and through acquisitions over the last years. Today we are a global global hearing aid retailer with activities in 20+ markets with more than 5,000 hearing care experts in over 3,500 clinics worldwide, combining our global reach with a local approach and great local brands. In the Commercial Excellence team we are currently looking for an experienced director who can set the strategic direction for our learning, training and development department, and ensure we have an ideal setup for implementing and educating people in our operating model globally. If you have a solid background in designing, structuring and delivering commercial training programs, are inspired by developing people and are excited about making a significant impact on our business, you are the one we are looking for.
Part of the team
As the Head of Commercial Learning and Training, you will have an important role in ensuring our commercial growth by ensuring our country trainers, sales personnel, hearing care professionals and clinic staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel. You will be responsible for creating and implementing commercial training strategies, developing and implementing training programs, and providing leadership and direction to your own and our countries’ training teams. You will be responsible for building a learning and training setup that integrates on site learning and digital learning experiences to take Hearing Care to the next level on the learning agenda. Furthermore, you will facilitate collaboration, coordination and knowledge sharing across our markets on the area. #LI-CC1 #LI-HYBRID
Responsiblities
Key responsibilities include develop and implement a comprehensive commercial training strategy focused on implementing our operating model and enhancing our skills and capabilities. You will collaborate closely with the market leads and local training responsible to identify specific training needs and create tailored programs to address them. For this purpose you will oversee the development of highly engaging and effective commercial training materials that focuses on our sales methodologies. This also entails a close collaboration with our HR team on the leadership agenda.
You will drive and mentor a team of two global trainers, an analyst and two digital learning experts, to deliver on the above mentioned. Developing digital learning you will take overall responsibility for our learning platform FUSE and how to facilitate engagement and integration with on site learning
You will be expected to continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of global commercial training programs through metrics, feedback, and best practices, and in the process instill a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation in our organization.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial training and development, with a previous experience with a leadership role
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Understanding of sales, customer journey and commercial principles and strategies
- Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Demonstrated ability to understand data and measure the impact of commercial training programs
- Experience in managing a team and collaborating effectively with stakeholders
- Innovative and creative mindset with a commitment to staying current with emerging trends in learning and training
