Experienced DE&I Practitioner
To be a good candidate for this job, we expect you to be an experienced DE&I practitioner. You will be a valued member of our "Leadership & Organizational Development team" currently consisting of 7 people. The team holds a mix of competences, and with your DE&I expertise you will have an important role in our efforts to fully integrate DE&I in what we do, - increasing the impact and value to the business.
Through internal employee engagement activities, workshops, trainings, and projects exploring our potential areas - you get to live your passion for and experience with DE&I while impacting the Demant culture.
Besides the colleagues in this team, you will be working and interacting with the global HR community and management teams across the Demant organization globally.
Strengthening a Diverse & Inclusive Work Culture

Concretely you will help facilitate the further implementation of Demant’s DE&I program Embrace - oversee and further develop internal DE&I engagement activities and projects to strengthen topics including, but not limited to:
• Strengthening DE&I in HR related policies and processes globally in Demant, ensuring they don’t unintentionally undermine diversity and inclusion efforts.
• Facilitate DE&I workshops, dialogues and change activities in business areas and/or departments to engage managers and employees and establish DE&I activities and goals that would be meaningful for the specific context.
• Track diversity and inclusion goals and contribute with DE&I information for board meetings and annual Sustainability reporting.
• Keep up to date with and maintain compliance with national policies that are focused on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Support DE&I communities (e.g., Employee Resource Groups) and facilitate selected DE&I events.
• Ensure that HR colleagues across Demant is trained in DE&I and how it integrates with Demant engagement program, core values and leadership approach.
• Build a training program for hiring managers on how to select, manage and retain candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with group communication and HR colleagues to create and implement DE&I campaigns and ensure DE&I content is appropriately featured across internal and external channels.
The position is located at our international headquarters in Smørum – just outside Copenhagen. Due to the nature of the tasks in this job, it is important to be physically available on-site. Thus, we need a colleague who is already living in the vicinity of Copenhagen.
Your experience and way of working
• You have solid project – and change management skills and have gained your experience in an international work context.
• Stakeholder management comes naturally – and you easily engage with various employee groups across cultures in a trust building and collaborative manner.
• Proven experience in DE&I in a global company, ideally with a particular focus on internal employee engagement – content, events, processes, and employee communication.
• Solid knowledge and experience in ensuring company-wide DE&I training tools, learning opportunities, and follow-up procedures.
• Great communication and presentation skills with the ability to educate people and teams at various levels of proficiency within the topic of DE&I.
• Solid level of English and comfortable teaching and facilitating.
• A people person who is excited about improving the life of others.
