Location: Søborg, Denmark
Thales people architect solutions that support 85 million mainline and suburban passenger journeys, worldwide, every day. Our Rail Signalling and Communication systems are used on metro lines across major cities, and 72,000 kms of route, 52,000 trains per day in 16 countries are controlled by our Traffic Management Systems. Together We deployed the first-ever nationwide ticketing system which processes over 50 million ticketing transactions in 100 cities daily.
Thales has been involved in Danish projects since 1973, and now due to the significance of the Group’s activities and the market outlooks in the country, Thales has since established a formal regional office in Copenhagen in January 2015. Thales has delivered the Danish Travelcard system and is in charge of its operation and maintenance for the next 10 years. Moreover, it is Thales’ hope to further enhance the system with the latest technologies, like mobile phone and account-based functionalities.

- Rather informal in our ways of working and we are sometimes really noisy and funny to be around
You probably….
- Know a lot about multi-site on-premise Windows infrastructure, such as OS, AD, HyperV, Cluster and RDS
- Also know about SAN Storage and backup
- Know a bit Network (LAN)
- Custom built applications
We would…
- Be happy if you know something about 3rd level application support
- Appreciate if you have experience in working with 3rd party vendors
- Really like if you also have some knowledge in PowerShell, .net and how to do daily operations
The Operations & Architecture team….
- has the responsibility to ensure the right choice of technologies and architectural design fitting our current platform
- will introduce a new Cloud First strategy this year
- have the responsibility to ensure a stable operation of the system as well as a lot of other systems and applications

- Responsible for operating, developing and expanding the infrastructure and related applications on a nationwide ticketing system in Denmark.

- Currently located in Søborg but will relocate to Ballerup mid-summer 2021.
