Join a highly professional team in Group Finance
Ferrosan Medical Devices develops haemostatic products that doctors in over 100 countries worldwide use to minimize bleeding during surgeries. Our products are quite literally vital.
Based out of our HQ in Søborg, you will be joining our Group Finance department, consisting of 7 very professional people working with finance, accounting, taxation and controlling. As a team, we take great pride in our function, and we strive to always evolve and become closer to our internal stakeholders, giving us a better scope of their needs, as well as those of the organization.
Support and control projects across Ferrosan Medical Devices
As our new finance business partner, you will spend the majority of your time supporting and controlling development projects (such as product, capacity and cost optimization projects) across the company. Doing so, you will work with multiple stakeholders within Commercial, Project Execution Unit and Finance. You will further take a leading role in ensuring that the project department is aligned in regard to meeting financial targets.
You will also be responsible for finance business partnering across the assigned functions. This includes providing financial guidance, driving budgets and forecasting processes and ensuring that all investments are based on a solid and sound business case. As a person you have a very strong costumer-focus and you focus on high quality and on-time project delivery and work systematically and are committed to your work.
Specifically, your tasks will include:

As you will be interfacing with colleagues from all around Ferrosan Medical Devices, you must be a competent communicator for whom stakeholder management comes naturally. You will explain complex technical matters to the non-specialists on a regular basis and should be able to do so comfortably.

Support and control projects across Ferrosan Medical Devices

Specifically, your tasks will include:
- Ensuring an overview of active projects and resources on each project as well as following up on project financials, hour consumption statistics, expenses and utilization rates
- Managing the annual project resource budget process, including collecting and consolidating input
- Helping to prepare business cases and following up to ensure that the numbers are realistic in terms of realizing the financial expectations
- Managing project value calculations, e.g. ROI, cost of delay, etc. and ensuring the overall validity of the numbers we are working with
- Performing controlling on selected fixed cost areas

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant educational background at a diploma degree level (HD) as a minimum
- Solid, relevant experience in a financial role and experience with project and cost control, financial management and reporting as well as preparing and following up on business cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to summarize data and present conclusions clearly and concisely to senior management
- IT flair and interest – including good user skills within SAP and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in Danish and English – our company language is English, but various financial terms are used in Danish
