IT Student Assistant for global medical device producer
We supply hospitals in more than 100 countries worldwide with critical hemostatic products, which doctors use to minimize bleeding during surgery. Our work is important, and it is global. That requires smooth operation in every aspect of the business, and your troubleshooting and support will be a crucial part of keeping our IT department going reliably.
Your new proving ground
From our global headquarters in Søborg, you will join our IT department. We handle a wide range of tasks crucial to the operations of Ferrosan, facilitating IT tools for production, finance, HR, distribution, etc., enabling them to run smoothly.
We are a small team of dedicated specialists, and you will have a lot of experience to draw from as you get settled into your new team.

All-round supporter and project participant
Your primary task will be supporting on-site users at our offices in Søborg, helping to troubleshoot IT issues, fixing what you can and involving an external Service Desk when you cannot. In addition, you will be handling hardware orders and setting up both software and hardware.
As we are a smaller team, you will also sometimes participate in project work, such as infrastructure development and IT security.

You have a natural flair and unquenchable thirst for all things IT, and you can take your technical knowledge and explain it patiently to non-technical end users.
Professional growth and perks
You will be working around 10 to 20 hours a week, with a lot of room for flexibility during exam crunch times. During your time here, you will gain a lot of insight into the business and accumulate valuable experience with the inner workings of an IT department in a global company. Your involvement in projects will also offer invaluable practical experience.

- Supporting and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and mobiles
- Installing and preparing desktops, laptops, and workstations
- Maintaining AV equipment in meeting rooms, info screens and the like
- Maintaining intersections and server rooms
What we expect from you

- You have the capacity to lean and adapt quickly
- You are solution-oriented and like to communicate IT across different stakeholders
- You must be enrolled in a relevant field of study, probably IT or engineering, and have at least 2 years left of your education
- You must be a strong user of Windows and Office tools and looking to improve your Office365 and Active Directory skills
- You ideally have experience with IT support in some fashion
