Senior Transaction Manager, M&A
Do you have strong financial skills and can you drive sales and financing processes for renewable projects ? Do you have an outgoing personality that and allows you to build relationships? And do you want to work with renewables in an international organisation?
European Energy is a fast-growing privately-owned Danish company. We develop, build, operate, and sell wind farms and photovoltaic systems globally. In doing so, we contribute significantly to solving the climate challenges by reducing the world's CO2 emissions. Since 2004, we have installed green energy projects for more that 18 billion DKK, and we have a large pipeline ahead of us. We operate globally and employ more than 300 colleagues with 28 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, and Spain.
Due to our company’s growth, we are looking for a new colleague. As our new Senior Transaction Manager, you will be part of our Transaction Service Team, which is consisting of more than 10 employees with different backgrounds. The team is responsible for selling the wind and solar energy projects we develop at European Energy. You will become part of a dynamic and engaged environment where you will work closely with colleagues from different departments on complex transactions.
As our new Senior Transaction Manager, you will undertake significant process and project responsibility and have the opportunity to play a focused role in planning and carrying out complex M&A transactions.

Your areas of responsibility include
- Building good relationships with existing and potential investment partners
- Structuring, coordinating and leading transaction processes
- Leading commercial negotiations
- Drafting sales purchase agreements
- Leading negotiations with international banks regarding construction and project financing
Professional skills we expect from you
- You hold a university degree in Business or Economics, MBA or similar
- You have 5+ years of experience, preferable within the renewable energy sector, M&A or from the financial industry (e.g. Investment Banking, Corporate Finance)
- English at negotiation level
- Good prioritization skills which enables you to handle multiple tasks and make decisions
