Welcome to the Environmental team
As our new GIS-specialist you will be part of the environmental team and you will be part of our cross-border GIS-environment. We operate as a support function, and we advise within a variety of environmental questions related to European Energy’s investment projects.
As our new GIS-specialist, you will be involved in all kinds of projects, from the very early feasibility studies to full environmental impact assessment. You will be working within wind, solar and Power-to-X projects both onshore and offshore on a global scale.
You will maintain and develop various GIS-based screening tools, and you will on basis of environmental criteria carry out suitability mapping and assist in communicating findings in an easily understandable way.
As our new GIS-specialist you will support preparing GIS based materials for presentations and reporting.

- Environmental screening, assessment and reporting of greenfield projects in GIS
- Build, develop and maintain our environmental GIS tool, database and competencies
- Close collaboration with our global GIS team in Hamburg
- Support our project developers and project managers in GIS-related environmental activities
Your profile
- You have 3+ years of experience within environmental-GIS
- You have full proficiency in Danish and English, written and oral
- You have a structured way of working, and can easily structure your data
- You are a solid communicator and can adapt your message to the receiver
