In our Command & Control organization we are on the verge of starting up several new and exciting projects, which means that we are busy and looking for several new colleagues to come and join us. We are looking for system engineers to join our team in both our office in Lystrup, Aarhus and in Søborg, Copenhagen.
You will be supporting one of the following projects, depending on preference, experience and whether you are located in Lystrup or Søborg:
In Lystrup you can be part of the development of a new air defense system for the Danish Defense or development of systems for critical infrastructure protection or other projects.
In Søborg you can be part of the development of new patrol ships for the Danish Defense.
Role and responsibilities
Working as a system Engineer at Terma means that you will work all the way, from understanding customer needs to integration of solutions at the customer and be responsible for requirement management, as well as function as a domain knowledge expert over time.
You will have a wide range of interfaces and close cooperation with other project participants, counting among other Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Testers, and Project Managers for the entire project. While you work, you will gain increasing responsibility of the overall product functionality and performance.

As we are looking into a ramp-up within this area we are looking to hire different profiles, both junior and senior, and are very open to different relevant backgrounds and experiences. Common for all is that we need competencies within the broad area of system engineering – or we are looking for you with limited experience, but with a lot of drive and motivation to learn and develop with this field.
We imagine that your background might look something like this:
As a person you are a great at stakeholder management, you can navigate in an interdisciplinary environment, and you thrive in take responsibility for the progress and results of the technical part of a development project. Furthermore, you are a team player and take pride in communicating actively and acting proactively towards your teammates and stakeholders.
Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish national security agency. This entails that candidate, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad and have citizenship from a country that is member of NATO.

You will have a wide range of interfaces and close cooperation with other project participants, counting among other Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Testers, and Project Managers for the entire project. - To understand the situation of a customer and their needs, as well as the written and verbal communication, enabling you to transform this knowledge into a technical solution.
- To be responsible for verification and validation of the complete solution in cooperation with software developers and test engineers.
- To be an important sparring partner for your colleagues in and outside the team.
You will also:
- Participate in test activities necessary to ensure system and project delivery – including tests onboard military vessels or military vehicles (in Denmark).
- Participate in the team scrum events like planning, refinement, retrospective, and review/demo.
- Spare and knowledge share with your fellow systems engineers in the C2 organization.
Who are you?

- Experience with system engineering

- Experience with developing systems and used to producing system specifications
