The position As Global Payer Evidence Lead/Director, you will be accountable for driving the payer evidence strategy for a given therapy area as well as the execution and communication of evidence, thereby shaping the strategic direction for new assets. One of the key tasks is to build and maintain a comprehensive network of stakeholders with significant influence on payer evidence. Your role will also involve promoting learning and understanding of payer/HTA expectations, evidence requirements, and access needs. As a member of the Global Payer Evidence team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative pipeline assets in Novo Nordisk’s history. The team is responsible for payer evidence strategy and long-term evidence planning across the portfolio. Key responsibilities: Determine payer evidence strategy and tactics, support market access preparation for products in development and launch Set evidence direction for Global Market Access team members, regions, and affiliates Lead payer-relevant real-world evidence studies (incl. costed patient pathways, treatment patterns, patient preferences, and burden of illness) Perform descriptive and statistical analyses from secondary data sources and manage ad-hoc evidence requests from affiliates to support payer dialogues and HTA submissions Represent the payer view and GMAP in cross-functional evidence fora and processes Anticipate and shape payer/HTA evidence requirements via publications and external engagement Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with expertise in market access, health technology assessment (HTA), and real-world evidence (RWE), who can bring innovation and breakthrough thinking to our team. Your work will contribute to important decisions and milestones regarding pipeline evidence strategy across the portfolio. To be successful in this role, you should have: M.Sc./Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific field, e.g., outcomes research, epidemiology, economics At least seven years of experience in market access and health outcomes research, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy Extensive experience working within market access and payer evidence, incl. RWE and HTA evidence requirements (current and emerging such as EUHTA), etc. Direct experience in executing payer evidence studies Good understanding of relevant methodologies and statistics for secondary database studies Fluency in written and spoken English On a personal level you have strong project and stakeholder management skills, as well as effective interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, you have a strategic and operational mindset, with a problem-solving approach that can identify solutions and influence decisions. Finally, strong skills in building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across key markets and functions are highly desirable.
