At Verisure Innovation we are growing our Proposition Management team and are seeking a talented, technical skilled, customer-focused, innovative, passionate Product Manager with good business understanding to support our growing operations on Lookout - the next big app on neighbourhood watch.
The Proposition Management team represents the customer voice of Verisure Innovation and is the glue between RnD, Design and Business.
The team is responsible for:
Through the Lookout app Verisure Innovation is creating safer neighbourhoods., The Lookout app is a free service that shows you the risk of burglary in your local area, notifies you when a burglary has been reported to the police near you and allows you and the community around you to improve the burglary protection together. You can even report and warn your neighbours and acquaintances in the local area if you see anything suspicious or learn about a burglary nearby.
As Lookout Product Manager, you will be responsible for taking the Lookout app to the next steps of becoming a successful global neighbourhood watch app, defining both roadmaps, business strategy and work closely with both RnD, Design, Marketing teams and the rest of the Proposition Management team.
The Lookout Product Manager reports to the Digital Proposition Manager, who owns the overall digital products and strategy for Verisure Innovation.
The person we are looking for has a passion for driving software innovation, is entrepreneurial and committed, has a good understanding of both technology and business strategy and has great people skills.
The Lookout team today is an agile small team with its base in Copenhagen. It consists of external Android, iOS and backend developers and a designer to drive a fast go-to-market with the possibility to test out new ideas in a fast and agile way.

- Having a strong product & services innovation pipeline
- Defining the new products and services for the company
- Leading the projects to create and integrate these new products and services in our alarm (together with R&D project managers)
- Understanding how these new products and services will evolve the positioning of our company, the offering (sales proposition), the sales process and the resulting economics

Key Responsibilities

- Our business model and the ones of competitors
- Our product & services and the ones of competitors
- Our technology and technology trends that can be applicable
- Our Go-To Market strategies
- Our service to customers
- Our current Lookout app and competition
- Our business model and the ones of competitors
- Among others, this role will be responsible for:
- Leading the strategy and roadmap for the Lookout app
- Researching the market, competition, providers, consumer habits
- Understand how the product fits in our Go To Market, and how it serves its purpose
- Define & detail new features to include in the backlog
- Prioritize the feature backlog
- Manage product’s budget and resources
- Understand the performance of current and future product
- Leading the strategy and roadmap for the Lookout app

What you bring
- We are looking for:
- Strong analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial and committed, with a strong hands-on approach
- Good understanding and passion about technology
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in an international, multicultural setting
- Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of understanding the big picture
- Driven, self-going mindset with great people skills.
- Strong written and oral communication capabilities for creating content and presenting
- Very fluent in written and spoken English (other languages will be a plus: Spanish, Swedish, German, Italian, French)
- University degree (electrical /computer engineering degree are preferred)
- Full-Time dedication
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing / as a Product Owner / Marketing / Consulting
- MBA while not required, being a big plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Additional complementary skills will be valued:
- Experience in market research and /or analysis of data
- Experience in Project/Product management
- Experience in UX/UI
- Experience in UX writing and translations
- Programming knowledge (Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL/NoSQL, Python, R etc.)
- Experience in market research and /or analysis of data
