Senior JavaScript Developer

On behalf of our customer, Growblocks, Bloom IT Recruitment is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join their newly started and fast-growing team in Copenhagen.
For this position it is important that you are excited by building a new product from scratch and in doing so, helping to figure out what frameworks and services to use. Your role will include immersing yourself in new concepts and problems quickly and finding creative solutions. You will be given a lot of autonomy and trust to help shape and create a valuable product the customers will love.
Equally important is that consider yourself to have a “pioneer spirit” and that you have a commercial mindset from a technical perspective. You are excited by working in a startup company and you are driven by a close collaboration across all departments of the company.
About the job
As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will become a vital part of shaping and building out Growblocks architecture, framework, and services. You will be developing new features to solve real-life customer problems and in parallel take ownership for improving and scaling the product as the customer base grows.
You will be working closely with the Lead Developer and the rest of the Product Team (including CTO & Product Designer) and in close collaboration, you will put solutions in front of the customers quickly, validate value creation and iterate as needed.
Also, you will be ensuring that Growblocks is exploring and adopting new technologies and tools that can help to move faster and constantly examine new ways to solve technical problems.
About you
You have a passion for complex problem-solving and finding creative and scalable solutions. Furthermore, you enjoy pair-programming and discussing the best way to tackle technical challenges with your colleagues.
You see your work from the user’s perspective, and you are motivated by taking the extra steps to get it “just right”.
You take initiative and responsibility to make things happen and you are results and solutions oriented.
You have a solid experience with both frontend and backend development in JavaScript (Node & React), preferably in a large-scale software application.
You are comfortable using TypeScript and have experience with services/frameworks such as NestJS, Next.js, TailwindUI or other design/component libraries and you are familiar with testing best practices and frameworks.
You have a working relationship with CSS, and you have gathered experience with using Git and/or other version control systems. Also, you should have a natural curiosity for new scripting languages, frameworks, and technologies.
You must be knowledgeable with Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban way of working and have a natural interest and understanding of the commercial side of B2B SaaS business.
