Do you want to play a key part in onshore planning and execution as system responsible? And, at the same time, ensure a high level of integrity within the systems?
We are looking for an experienced and engaged Telecom Engineer to join our maintenance team consisting of +10 engineers with electrical/mechanical experience. In this position you act as system responsible for telecommunication and other monitoring systems. As system responsible you are always expected to ensure a safe, cost effective and reliable work completion.
We are currently 250 employees in Denmark with offices in Esbjerg and Virum. You will be based at our office in Esbjerg and regularly interfaces with our colleagues offshore and in Virum, but it will also include some offshore traveling to participate and follow up on vendor campaigns.

As our new Telecom Engineer, you will be Responsible for telecommunication, marine surveillance and other monitoring systems for the SIRI and SouthArne assets.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
A self-driven team player with industry experience
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or have a relevant technical background. You have experience from oil & gas or similar technical industry and specifically experience with offshore telecom systems.

About the job
As our new Telecom Engineer, you will be Responsible for telecommunication, marine surveillance and other monitoring systems for the SIRI and SouthArne assets.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and execution of planned and corrective maintenance
- Manage and follow up on system budgets
- Perform reliability studies, identify bad actors and drive improvement proposal withing telecom area
- Perform management of change activities and act as a technical adviser to other departments
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with INEOS’ 7 Life Saving Rules, INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGNs) and 20 Principles (20P) requirements
- Be a part of a duty rotation for 2nd. line emergency response and maintenance support to offshore outside office openings hours
A self-driven team player with industry experience
You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or have a relevant technical background. You have experience from oil & gas or similar technical industry and specifically experience with offshore telecom systems.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have in-depth knowledge of relevant Danish offshore legislation, international and NORSOK standards
- Have proven safety leadership and successful execution of decision
- Have a structured and analytical approach to your work
- Are capable of planning and organizing various activities, all running in parallel
- Are fluent in English and Danish verbally as well as written
