Do you have the experience to take on a highly visible finance role that requires you to build partnerships with the business, support senior stakeholders and support the strategic business plan by driving the performance agenda? If so, Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner.

You will be the designated Finance Business Partner to the Commercial (CCO) and R&D (CTO) functions located in Tinglev.
With direct reference to the Head of FP&A you will be responsible for all financial planning/forecast processes and monthly performance activities in your areas.
You will lead, define (and maintain) the framework for and facilitate the quotation process including the bid calculation model.
Your key responsibilities also include:
• Lead monthly activities related to product cost savings
• Responsible for finance support to R&D projects, ex around DCF models
• Lead analytical support activities to the Commercial function, and undertake strategic and tactical commercial analysis of business opportunities and threats
• Establish full cost views on customers and products
• Responsible for further extending performance reporting within Commercial and R&D
• Lead local or global projects and initiatives
• Support the definition and establishing of production performance reporting
The ideal candidate for the role will have a Bachelor or Master in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration combined with at 5+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning, Controlling, Performance management or Business Administration in a larger organization.
Key competencies are
• Solid stakeholder management skills both across the organization and towards Senior Management
• Strong analytical skills and financial understanding
• Commercial mindset
• Ability to present data and analysis results in a format for decisions and actions
To succeed in our team, you need to be a self-driven individual with sense of urgency and the ambition to learn new things. A Self-starter with a high motivation level to take on new tasks and ensure timely and successful execution of agendas across the organization.
It is a basic requirement that you have excellent, professional English skills. Danish is not required, but would be an advantage.
