About you

In addition, you have:
- At least 5 years experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Completed business education (HAK, FH, University) including Chartered Accountant exams
- High-level skilled profession within usage of SAP and MS Office; basic knowledge of HFM (Hyperion Financial management) is an advantage
- good knowledge in accounting (e.g. IAS/IFRS)
- Fluent in German and English (verbal and in writing), any additional language will be considered an asset
- Open minded team-player with hands-on mentality
About the job
As a Financial Reporting Expert your task will be to oversee all financial aspects of the RHI Magnesita entities in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. You will be fully responsible for the accounting activities and reporting activities according to local GAAP and IAS/IFRS as well as the flow of accurate financial information to the head of Regional Finance. You will act as the intermediary between the internal shared service center in Spain, the Corporate and Group functions and external parties.
Your tasks will include amongst others:
- Ensure legal entity reporting is done accurately and in compliance with local statutory requirements and group accounting guidelines (IAS/IFRS)
- Overall control of all financial transactions and accounting matters
- Cooperation with and supervision of our shared services center in Spain
- Payment approval for payroll and supplier invoices.
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements including the Annual Group Statutory Reporting packages
- Close cooperation with group auditors and other external parties
- Ensuring company compliance with RHI Magnesita’s corporate internal control procedures and guidelines
- Supporting of internal finance project.
