The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions ([xxxxx]) is a new organization with a mission to develop evidence-based solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in low- and middle-income countries. Working in partnership with low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), [xxxxx] uses intervention and implementation research to support the countries in implementing their National Action Plans. [xxxxx] is a self-governing organization obliged to follow many of the rules and regulations for the Danish Public Sector. [xxxxx]’ Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team is involved in project development, implementation, and evaluation, supports grant management, extracts learnings across projects, and facilitates internal managerial processes.

About the position
As our student assistant, you will help us solve administrative, practical and academic assignments, which may vary from week to week. You will support the MEL team in the following areas:

  • Monitoring of a growing portfolio of projects in LMICs.
  • Data collection, entry and analysis.
  • Updating of project overviews and [xxxxx]’ project portfolio
  • Development and maintenance of MEAL-Team resources in [xxxxx] intranet.
  • Updating the internal monitoring framework.
  • Developing and implementing the [xxxxx] evaluation framework.
  • Updating project progress in [xxxxx]’ project management software
  • Supporting the administration and management of meetings, workshops and events
  • Creating/editing presentations.
  • Ad hoc tasks.

Your background and experience

  • You are enrolled at a Danish university as an active student, ideally in the field of Social Sciences, Economics, or International Development/Relations, preferably having finished your bachelor's degree.
  • You have interest or experience in working with MEAL and its role in an international organization.
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of managing datasets and using data analysis tools, such as Power BI or Excel will be an asset.
  • You can work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues from a diverse range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with project management software would be an asset.
  • You possess excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • You have a demonstrated interest and/or experience in liaising with various stakeholders from LMICs.

We are currently based at Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the terms of the collective agreement between The Danish Finance Ministry and the Organisation of Public Employees (OAO-S-Fællesoverenskomsten) and the organizational agreement between The Danish Finance Ministry and the Organisation for Salaried Employees HK/Stat (Organisationsaftale for kontorfunktionærer, laboranter og it-medarbejdere (HK)), according to chapter 6 in the agreement concerning hourly paid employees.

This is a part-time position of approximately 15 hours per week. The hours are flexible and exam periods can be taken into consideration.
