Your new company
Klar is growing more than 100% every year, and we need your expertise to support this growth.
Over the past year, Klar begun building a solid structure to support our expansion, and your role in Klar would be to continue and perfect this process.
Klar started in Estonia in 2015, and today they are present in more than 5 countries, but it doesn't stop here!
The company is expanding to new countries every year, and Klar would need your help in this process.
Your new role
You will be shaping the team, you need to manage the partnerships you create for Klar and to support the operations of each of the countries they have presence today (and the ones they are expanding to).
These are the areas of focus of today, but in the role of Klar's COO, you'll be able to take ownership and shape how you see the business moving forward, in terms of operations.
As Chief Operations Officer, your focus areas will include:
• Logistics and product sourcing
• Terms and conditions for business relations
• Participate in expansion activities and optimizing operational procedures
Your tasks will also include setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth (KPIs) for the departments, you're working with, such as: Customer satisfaction, quality assurance, logistics or HR.
These KPIs are needed so that you're able to make data-driven decisions. Klar business is based on the data and not on the traditions we hear of in the industry. Klar wants to disrupt the home improvement industry, so we need a person on the team who's ready to do just that.
What you’ll need to succeed
We're looking for a solution-oriented person, who knows how to connect different departments to support the overalls goals and strategies of the business.
You are a person with high social intelligence and excellent communications skills that allow them to manage many different processes.
Most important of all, you want to make yourself accountable and you want to be a part of this international growth venture.
You will need experience in negotiating terms with new and old partners, vendors, and suppliers.
You have solid work experience in Operations and leadership of people.
You are fluent in English and at least one of the Nordic languages (please notice that applications without language requirements will not be considered).
What you’ll get in return
Klar headquarters are based in Tartu, Estonia, but you will be working from their cozy danish office in Valby, which you will be sharing with a team of 12 cool colleagues. But if you feel like working from our sister offices in Stockholm or Tartu once in a while, you are more than welcome to do that!
Klar culture is light and informal and always open and adaptable – that is of course needed in a startup environment, but it also means you will be able to influence how the work environment is at the office. They count on a great social environment with free lunch twice a week, Friday bars, team-building trips twice a year to the HQ etc.
