Sønderborg International School is looking for a pedagogue with experience to expand our already existing team in the international group that is housed in Engelshøj Kindergarten in Sønderborg.
The pedagogue's primary task is to run the daily pedagogical work with children aged 2.9 - 6 years. Everyday life is built up of structured learning activities planned by the team, and it will be the pedagogical task to contribute, relieve and sometimes work independently. The pedagogical tasks are carried out following the Day Care Services Act on pedagogical curricula and the Early Years Foundation Stage and take place in Danish and English, respectively.
The job will involve parental contact daily. Likewise, meeting activity in the form of staff meetings and information meetings must be expected.
The position is a part-time position (32 hours ) and is desired to be filled by 1st May. It is a cover position for approx. 2 months with a possible extension as an option.
Applicants should have pedagogical training in the area of early year children as well as prior successful working experience in such a setting. Openness to new cultures, positive flexibility, and the ability to inspire young children are needed. Excellent verbal and written Danish and English skills are required for the job.
