To succeed in the role as our new senior test engineer, you must have documented experience with industrial electronics manufacturing and EMS production. Preferably you will also be interested in taking on the role as a coordinating figure within our team of test engineers. In this role you would be responsible for the ongoing workflow within the team in addition to further developing our test strategy.

Your tasks
As a senior test engineer, you will be responsible for our large variety of test equipment, both locally in our production in Sønderborg as well as internationally with our EMS-partners in Eastern Europe and the Far East. We work with a wide range of tests from basic testing to high complexity including vision solutions and integration into our ERP-system. We work with both PCBA and final test level.
You have a natural ability to participate in professional relations and cross-functional collaborations, as you will be the link between our product developers and production team. Simultaneously, your most important task is to ensure the steady operation of our existing test equipment and to contribute to the development of new. We often design our test equipment in collaboration with our external partners.
You will be part of a team of highly professional and dedicated individuals. Together with your new colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that the test equipment at OJ Electronics and our EMS's has a high uptime with a high FPY (first pass yield).
Your competencies
To be considered for this role, it is a requirement that you are a trained engineer with more than ten years of experience from a similar position. Furthermore, you have demonstrated experience with LabVIEW and TestStand from NI.
The most important criteria to be considered for this position is your specialized knowledge and documented experience as a test engineer. Additionally, you must be able to work in a structured and analytical manner and be a highly skilled communicator. The role of senior test engineer requires an ability to handle a wide range of diverse tasks involving a great number of colleagues from within the organization as well as externals.
As a coordinator, you always have a sense of perspective, and you can keep your projects on track - these are some of your natural competencies. However, experience as a team coordinator is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
Fluency in Danish is not required, but you must master technical English at a professional level.
