The CNE Area Quality team is now looking for an energetic LEAN Coach to join our Central & North Europe (CNE) Area Quality & Environment team, located in Southwest Sweden or Denmark to lead and support all CNE business lines and frontlines in their LEAN transformation. As a LEAN Coach you are responsible for acting as our transformation agent and LEAN Coach providing trainings, mentorships, leadership, facilitating and managing continues improvement and lean rollouts within Central & North Europe (CNE) Area unit’s.</p Lean Coach aims at bringing tangible business benefits and growth by facilitating adoption of lean ways of working. Thereby, Lean Coach can contribute to improving employee engagement, customer value, efficiency and productivity, quality and safety. Lean Coach is responsible for coaching line managers and their teams to implement lean ways of working.
Lean Coach plays a key role in the network that deploys one of KONE’s strategic ‘Ways to Win’: LEAN KONE together with the KONE frontlines.

Lean Coach plays a key role in the network that deploys one of KONE’s strategic ‘Ways to Win’: LEAN KONE together with the KONE frontlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing Lean practices and ways of working that support continuous improvement - focus on daily management, capacity management and reduction of variability
- Able to coach and engage unit leaders, line managers and their teams to apply new, lean ways of working and drive lean mindset change
- Able to connect lean to unit strategic targets
- Responsible for supporting Frontlines in helping to identify performance improvement initiatives using lean ways of working
- Responsible for supporting Frontlines to set up and follow-up benefit realization of identified lean initiatives
- Responsible to projectized transformation activity and ensuring day-to-day progress with supported teams within Local Lean Transformation projects.
- Identify, support and drive leans ways of working in an engaging and empowering way
- Assist in eliminating roadblocks to Continuous Improvement
- Train and coach all levels and functions in lean principles and their application in practice
- Lead and support local Gemba walks
- Support Frontlines Monitor departmental performance and analyze data to identify focused opportunities for reducing costs and improving productivity, utilization, and quality
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement opportunities
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Technical or Commercial Bachelor’s or Master Degree and 5-7 years of related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in Lean coaching from construction or field operation businesses is an advance
- Learning agility to adapt to all KONE business lines, services and operations
- Skilled in coaching/mentoring in on-the-job application of new skills
- Ability to lead without authority, "servant leadership" mindset
- Empathetic people-person and passionate change leader
- Strong project and change management skills
- Basic knowledge of data analysis
- Lean principles, well versed in both the theory and hands on practice
- Motivational with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- General knowledge of operation and maintenance processes, costs, quality controls and other areas of frontline unit’s responsibilities
- Strong facilitation skills and problem solving background
- Experience from lean practices and techniques such as Kaizen, time studies, data analysis, capacity analysis and work instructions
- Excellent spoken and written English, native level Swedish / Danish, German is an advance
- Traveling within county 50% and 20% within Europe
