Be a part of our journey

As Senior Procurement Partner of the Goods for Resale category, you will have the opportunity to work with our broad portfolio within the tools and accessories categories across all of our production sites and sales countries. These categories are critical for our customers and for Flügger in order to be a full solution provider to the professional painter. You will work with branded products as well as private label and outsourced products (CMO). The categories are in need of a more strategic sourcing strategy. You will be responsible for sourcing optimization and new sustainable solutions within products such as tools, brushes, machines, rollers, tape, wallcovering, filler, outsourced paints etc.

You will join the GFR & Indirect Procurement team and report to Manager, René Wernblad and work closely with the other colleagues in Procurement and stakeholders throughout the organization and across all levels from Shop employees to senior management. You will have wide responsibility areas and work empowered.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Development of category sourcing strategies, cost optimization, risk mitigation and value creation
• Market investigations, price benchmark, commercial modelling, TCO analysis and cost break-down
• Tendering, negotiations
• Contracting & contract management
• Supplier performance management and relations management with key suppliers
• Participate in or drive various functional initiatives to develop Procurement and deliver on the Flügger strategy

Your profile

We expect you to have a strong business acumen securing sustainable cost optimization and value creation and you have a strong result orientation. Strong collaboration and communication skills are central to your success and make you a great team player. We expect you to have a holistic and strategic outlook to secure solutions are optimized in an end-to-end perspective. Additionally, we expect you to have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with strategic procurement
• Extensive experience within tools and Goods for resale
• Experience with category strategy development & optimization lever deployment
• Strong negotiation and Project management skills
• A Bachelor or master’s degree, in Business Administration, Legal, Economics, Engineering or the like or a strong experience-based background supplemented with procurement training
