About the department
The Sourcing QA department is responsible for Quality Assurance of materials going into all of Novo Nordisk´s products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of suppliers who are located all over the world. Furthermore, we are assuring the foundation for release of the raw materials, primary and printed packaging materials for use in the production of the many products produced by Novo Nordisk. A combination of ensuring the right standard of the incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues using LEAN tools is part of our daily work to improve and secure robustness in our internal processes. In total, we are 60 dedicated employees divided into 5 teams working closely together.
The open position as QA professional is in the Compliance team consisting of 10 employees. The team is responsible for ensuring the compliance of all processes in Sourcing Operations. This varies from warehousing and purchasing to analytical testing within both physical and chemical testing.
The job
As QA professional in Sourcing QA Compliance you will, together with your dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of the processes at the broad stakeholder landscape in the organization. You will be involved in change implementation, investigations of deviations, qualification of equipment for chemical and physical methods and potentially IT systems. You will be a part of the daily operations including oversight activities, process confirmation and compliance reviews.
You will be working closely together with Line of business for the sourcing processes, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing/Logistics, warehouse, consuming departments and development departments. Some of your tasks will be the approval of quality related documents and processes.
You will continuously focus on ensuring a high compliance level in the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to influence our internal processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders both internally and externally. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines, you can make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious.
Qualifications
We expect you to have a Master´s degree or equivalent within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or a related discipline with +3 years of experience and that you possess a strong quality mindset and a good knowledge of GMP rules and Quality Assurance from the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge from the medical industry and relevant processes is an advantage, as well as competencies within IT. We are cooperating broadly with many stakeholders and therefore excellent collaboration and communication skills are needed.
Regarding personal skills, you are known for your positive mind-set, flexibility and persistence. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
