About the department
The Sourcing QA department is responsible for Quality Assurance of materials going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of suppliers who are located all over the world. Furthermore we are assuring the foundation for release of the raw materials, primary and printed packaging materials for use in the production of the many products produced by Novo Nordisk A/S. A combination of ensuring the right standard of the incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools is part of our daily work to improve and secure robustness in our internal processes. In total, we are 60 dedicated employees divided into 5 teams working closely together.
The open position as QA professional is in the Packaging Materials team consisting of 14 employees. The team is responsible for incoming primary and secondary (printed) packaging materials used in all of Novo Nordisk A/S pharmaceutical products including both Biopharm and the Diabetes product portfolio. The position is in the secondary packaging material group handling our printed packaging material.
The job
As QA professional in Sourcing QA Packaging Materials you will, together with your dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories. This portfolio of materials varies from glass, rubber, bulk containers to leaflets, labels and cartons from our global suppliers. You will be involved in handling costumer complaints, change implementation and investigations of deviations, audits at suppliers and stakeholder meeting with suppliers, and be responsible for Quality Contracts. You will be working closely together with Line of business for the sourcing processes, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing/Logistics, warehouse, consuming departments, development departments, strategic sourcing and suppliers. Some of your tasks will be the approval of quality related documents and processes.
You will continuously focus on ensuring a high compliance level in the supply chain, and you will have the opportunity to influence our internal processes and affect the way we work with our stakeholders both internally and externally. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines, you are able to make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious.
As the job include meetings and audits with suppliers travel days may be expected.
Qualifications
We expect you to have a Master´s degree or equivalent within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or a related discipline with +3 years of experience and that you possess a strong quality mind set and a good knowledge of GMP rules and Quality Assurance from the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge from the graphical industry or materials in scope and relevant production processes is an advantage. We are cooperating broadly with many stakeholders and therefore excellent collaboration and communication skills are needed.
With regard to personal skills, you are known for your positive mind-set, flexibility and persistence. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
